Spring 2024 3 Day Educational

The 3-Day Spring 2024 Education seminar for all Locals within the Prairie Region will be held in Edmonton from July 12th-14th at the Holiday Inn Express Edmonton Downtown - 10010 104th Street, Edmonton.

The courses being offered this Spring:

1. Strike Preparation (2 Classes)

2. Basic Shop Steward

3. Roles and Responsibilities of the Local Secretary Treasurer

Please ensure that your participants are aware that all educational sessions are mandatory. Travel costs, other than airline tickets, will be based on bus equivalent. Advance authorization by either the National Director or Regional Education and Organization Officer is required for other means of transportation. Per Diem cheques will be issued at registration prior to the plenary. Locals are also reminded that the Union endeavours to provide a harassment free environment for members to participate in this important work of the Union. All Union events are smoke and scent free.

• Please be advised that we require a ranking list of applicants the Local would like to send.

• Original applications MUST be sent to the Regional office by the deadline – No exceptions.

• Please ensure all application forms are filled out entirely, legibly and reflect correct information.

• All applications must be signed by the applicant and the Local President.
